Car
If you're driving from Melbourne, take the Eastern Freeway (M3) towards Ringwood. Continue on the M3 until it becomes the Maroondah Highway (B300). Follow the Maroondah Highway for approximately 50 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Healesville and merge onto Healesville-Kinglake Road (C726). After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Glen Eadie Ave. Healesville Sanctuary will be on your left. Parking is available on-site, and there is no cost for parking.

Start by taking a train from Melbourne’s Flinders Street Station to Lilydale Station. The trip takes about 1 hour. From Lilydale Station, transfer to a bus (route 683) towards Healesville. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. You will arrive at the Healesville Bus Station. From there, it is a short walk (about 15 minutes) through Healesville to reach Healesville Sanctuary on Glen Eadie Ave. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary.
