Getting There

• Car

  If you're in Eastern Victoria and traveling by car, head towards the Monash Freeway (M1) and take the exit towards Melbourne. Follow the M1 until you reach the city. Once in Melbourne, take the exit for the CBD and continue on the M1, which will turn into the West Gate Freeway. Follow signs for the city center and take the exit for Kings Way. Merge onto Kings Way and then turn right onto La Trobe Street. The Ormond Statue is located at RMIT City Campus, 124 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Parking may be available nearby, but check for any parking fees or restrictions.

• Public Transportation (Train)

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from any station in Eastern Victoria to Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Trains such as the Gippsland Line will take you directly to Southern Cross. Once there, exit the station and walk to the tram stop located on Spencer Street. Take the tram number 86, which heads towards Waterfront City. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the stop for La Trobe Street. From there, it's a short walk to the Ormond Statue located at RMIT City Campus, 124 La Trobe St, Melbourne VIC 3000. Make sure to check the current tram timetable for any service changes.

  If you prefer to use the bus, you can find a bus service from various locations in Eastern Victoria that connects to Melbourne's CBD. Look for buses that stop at Southern Cross Station. Once you arrive, follow the same instructions as above for walking to the tram stop and taking tram number 86. Alternatively, some bus routes may drop you off closer to La Trobe Street, so check local bus schedules for direct routes to RMIT City Campus.
