From Streaky Bay, head west along the Cape Bauer Loop Road. The drive is approximately 15 kilometers and takes about 20 minutes. Follow the signs to Whistling Rocks. There is a designated parking area near the entrance to the boardwalk. Parking is free. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the start of the boardwalk.

If you are staying at a nearby caravan park or accommodation along the Cape Bauer Loop, you can walk to Whistling Rocks. Follow the Cape Bauer Loop Road, taking care to watch for traffic. The walk from Streaky Bay is approximately 15 kilometers and will take several hours. Once you reach the Whistling Rocks parking area, follow the boardwalk to the viewing platforms.
