Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Port Lincoln. Head northwest on the Lincoln Highway (A1) for approximately 30 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Flinders Highway (B100) and continue for about 15 kilometers. Watch for signs directing you to Coulta. Turn left onto Coulta Road and drive for another 4 kilometers until you reach the Greenly Beach access road. Follow the access road to the parking area. There is no entry fee for the beach.

Public Transportation

Take a bus from Port Lincoln to Coulta. The bus service operates several times a day, but be sure to check the current schedule as it may vary. Once you arrive in Coulta, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Greenly Beach, as public transportation does not extend directly to the beach. The taxi ride should take around 10-15 minutes and may cost approximately AUD 20-30.

Bicycle

For the adventurous traveler, cycling from Port Lincoln to Greenly Beach is an option. The ride is approximately 45 kilometers and can take around 2-3 hours, depending on your fitness level. Follow the Lincoln Highway (A1) to the Flinders Highway (B100) as described in the car instructions. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, as there are limited facilities along the way. This option is free, aside from any rental costs if you do not own a bicycle.
