To reach North Gorge Walk in Point Lookout from Cairns, take the Captain Cook Highway (A1) south towards Brisbane. After approximately 1 hour, turn left onto the Gordonvale - Atherton Road (B112). Follow B112 until you reach the Bruce Highway (A1) and continue south. Take the exit toward Redland Bay and follow the signs to the ferry terminal at Cleveland. Board the ferry to North Stradbroke Island (cost approximately AUD 15 for a passenger vehicle). Upon arrival at Dunwich, follow the signs to Point Lookout. The North Gorge Walk is located at the end of Gorge Walk, Point Lookout QLD 4183.

From Cairns, take a bus to Brisbane (approximately 24 hours). From Brisbane, take a train to Cleveland Station. Once at Cleveland, transfer to the ferry terminal (approximately 10 minutes walk or take a bus). Purchase a ticket for the ferry to North Stradbroke Island (cost approximately AUD 15 for a passenger). After arriving at Dunwich, catch the local bus service to Point Lookout. Alight at the Point Lookout bus stop and follow the signs to North Gorge Walk, located at Gorge Walk, Point Lookout QLD 4183.
