Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Sir Samuel Griffith Drive. From the central area of Brisbane, take the M3 motorway and exit at the Mount Coot-Tha exit. Follow the signs for Mount Coot-Tha, which will lead you directly to Sir Samuel Griffith Drive. The summit lookout is located at 1012 Sir Samuel Griffith Dr, Mount Coot-Tha QLD 4066. There is ample parking available at the summit, but it can get busy on weekends, so arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from Brisbane's central station. Routes 598 and 599 travel to the Mount Coot-Tha area. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop nearest to the base of Mount Coot-Tha. From there, you can either walk up the hill (approximately a 30-minute walk) or catch a taxi for a short ride to the summit lookout. • Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and are already in the vicinity, you can walk up to the summit from the base. The trail is well-marked and takes roughly 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.
