Car
If you are driving from the town of Kingscote, head west on Playford Highway (B57) towards Flinders Chase National Park. Continue for approximately 90 kilometers (about 1 hour and 15 minutes). Follow the signs to Flinders Chase National Park, and once you reach the park entrance, pay the entry fee (around AUD 11 per vehicle). After entering the park, follow Flinders Chase Road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Remarkable Rocks car park. The rocks are a short walk from the car park.
Public Transportation
To reach Remarkable Rocks via public transportation, first take a bus from Kingscote to Flinders Chase National Park. Check the local bus schedule for the most current routes and times, as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to either walk or arrange a taxi to drive you to the Remarkable Rocks viewing area, which is about 15 kilometers from the entrance. Note that taxi services within the park may require prebooking, and it is advisable to check for local taxi numbers in advance.
Walking
If you are already within Flinders Chase National Park and have parked at the Remarkable Rocks car park, it's a short 500-meter walk to the rocks. Follow the marked walking path which is well-maintained and provides stunning views along the way. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the area can be quite exposed.
