If you're driving from Far West, start by heading northeast towards the Barrier Highway (A32). Follow the A32 until you reach the outskirts of Sydney. As you approach the city, merge onto the M1 Motorway (Eastern Distributor) towards Sydney CBD. Continue on the M1 and take the exit towards Macquarie Street. Follow the signs to Bennelong Point. The Sydney Opera House will be on your left. There is paid parking available nearby, which typically costs around AUD 5-10 per hour.

From Far West, take a train from your nearest station to Sydney. You may need to transfer at larger stations like Dubbo or Parramatta to catch a direct train to Sydney Central Station. Once you arrive at Central Station, follow the signs for the 'light rail' and take the L1 Dulwich Hill Line towards Dulwich Hill. Get off at the 'Circular Quay' stop. From Circular Quay, it’s a short 10-minute walk along the waterfront to the Sydney Opera House. Tickets for train travel vary but expect to pay around AUD 20-30 for a one-way trip.
