From the main entry point to Fraser Island at Kingfisher Bay Resort, head northeast on the main road (Fraser Island Rd) towards the northern end of the island. Continue straight for about 30 km until you reach the Y-Wong Road intersection. Turn right onto Y-Wong Road and follow it for approximately 11 km until you reach the Waddy Point turnoff. Turn left at the Waddy Point sign, and follow the signs to the parking area. Please note that driving on Fraser Island requires a 4WD vehicle due to sand conditions, and a permit is required to drive on the island, which can be purchased online or at the ferry terminal.
