    From Melbourne, take a V/Line train from Southern Cross Station to Bairnsdale. The journey takes about 3.5 hours. Upon arriving in Bairnsdale, transfer to the bus service (Bus Route 2) that heads to Paynesville. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Paynesville, walk to 5 Devon Rd to access the Koala Trail. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance for return times.
