Car
From Melbourne, take the M1 freeway towards Gippsland. Continue on the M1 for approximately 150 km until you reach the Sale exit (B400). Take the exit and merge onto the B400. Continue on the B400 for around 30 km, following signs for Rosedale. Once in Rosedale, turn onto the South Gippsland Highway (A440) and drive for about 20 km until you reach the town of Yarram. From Yarram, take the C449 towards Woodside. After approximately 12 km on C449, turn onto the road leading to Waterhole Creek. Follow this road for about 5 km, and you will reach Waterhole Creek, located in Victoria 3840.

If traveling by public transport, start at Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. Take a V/Line train to Sale, which takes approximately 2 hours. From Sale, catch a V/Line bus to Yarram, which operates a few times daily. Once in Yarram, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to reach Waterhole Creek, as there are no direct public transport options. The taxi ride from Yarram to Waterhole Creek will take about 15 minutes and could cost around AUD 30-40.
