Honeyworld is easily accessible by public transport. Translink bus services stop near Honeyworld on the Gold Coast Highway. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Honeyworld at 35 Tomewin Street. Walking

If you are already in the Currumbin area, walking to Honeyworld is a convenient option. From Currumbin Beach, walk along Pacific Parade to Tomewin Street. Honeyworld is located a short distance inland on Tomewin Street. The walk is generally flat and takes about 10-15 minutes. There are no specific costs associated with walking.
Driving

If driving, follow the Gold Coast Highway to Tomewin Street in Currumbin. Turn onto Tomewin Street, and Honeyworld will be on your right. There is ample parking available on-site. Parking is free in Currumbin. Alternatively, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has a car park across the road on Tomewin Street for $10.

Originally established on the Sunshine Coast as a honey factory, it expanded to the Gold Coast to educate the public about bees and their vital role in the ecosystem. Visitors can observe live beehives, learn about different types of bees, and understand the honey-making process. The attraction also features a mini-theatre showcasing bee-related movies and informative displays. One of the highlights is the honey tasting station, where you can sample various honey varieties. Honeyworld also offers a wide range of honey-related products, including pure Australian honey, royal jelly, beeswax cosmetics, and confectionery. In 2021, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary took over Honeyworld, refreshing the space with new exhibits while maintaining its free admission. This transition ensures that Honeyworld continues to educate visitors about the importance of bees and their connection to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary's conservation efforts. Alex Griffiths, the founder of the sanctuary, was a passionate beekeeper, and Honeyworld shares this lesser-known aspect of his legacy.
