Get off at the 'Tweed Heads' stop, which is a short walk from the lighthouse. From the bus stop, head south on Wharf Street towards the river, then turn right onto Kennedy Drive. Continue walking until you reach the lighthouse on the coast.

If you are starting from Broadbeach, take the G:link light rail from the Broadbeach South station towards Helensvale. Get off at the 'Southport' station. From there, transfer to the '704' bus towards Tweed Heads. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Tweed Heads' stop. Walk south along Wharf Street towards the river, then turn right onto Kennedy Drive to reach the Captain Cook Memorial and Lighthouse.
