Car
If you are driving from Halls Gap, start on Grampians Rd heading northwest. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit onto Northern Grampians Rd. Follow this road for approximately 8 kilometers. You will see signs for MacKenzie Falls directing you to turn left onto a smaller access road. The falls are well signposted, and you will find the parking area just before the entrance to the falls. Make sure to park your car and follow the walking path to the falls.
Public Transport
To reach MacKenzie Falls via public transport, you can take a bus from Stawell or Horsham to Halls Gap. Once you arrive in Halls Gap, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to MacKenzie Falls, as public transport doesn't directly reach the falls. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Ensure you confirm the taxi service beforehand, as availability may vary.
Walking
If you are in the nearby area and prefer to walk, from the Halls Gap Visitor Centre, head southeast on Grampians Rd. After about 3 kilometers, you will reach a junction where you can take a path leading into the park. Follow the walking trails that are marked towards MacKenzie Falls. The walk is approximately 2 hours and offers beautiful scenery along the way, making it a worthwhile experience.
