If you are driving to MacKenzie Falls Lookout, start from Halls Gap, which is the main township in the Grampians National Park. Head east on Grampians Road (C216) for about 6 kilometers. Continue on Grampians Road until you reach the junction with MacKenzie Falls Road. Turn left onto MacKenzie Falls Road and follow the signs for approximately 10 kilometers. The road leads directly to the MacKenzie Falls car park. There is no entry fee to the park, but parking is limited, so arrive early during peak times.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus service from Melbourne to Halls Gap, which operates several times a day. Once in Halls Gap, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach MacKenzie Falls Lookout, as there is no direct public transportation to the falls. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and cost around AUD 30-40, depending on the time of day and traffic.
Walking
If you are already in the Grampians and prefer to hike, there are walking trails leading to MacKenzie Falls Lookout from the nearby car park.
