Car
If you're driving from Melbourne, take the M1 highway towards Geelong. After about 70 km, merge onto the A1 Great Ocean Road. Continue on the A1 for approximately 180 km, passing through towns like Torquay and Lorne. Follow the signs to Apollo Bay. Once in Apollo Bay, turn onto Great Ocean Road. The Great Ocean Walk starts at 100 Great Ocean Rd, Apollo Bay VIC 3233. Look for the marked parking area.

To reach the Great Ocean Walk via public transport, take a train from Melbourne to Geelong. From Geelong, transfer to a V/Line bus heading to Apollo Bay. The bus ride takes around 3 hours. Once in Apollo Bay, you can walk to the starting point of the Great Ocean Walk, which is located at 100 Great Ocean Rd, Apollo Bay VIC 3233. It is a short walk from the bus stop.
