Car
If you are driving along the Great Ocean Road, head towards Cape Otway. From Apollo Bay, continue on the Great Ocean Road (B100) for about 30 minutes until you reach the Maits Rest Rainforest Walk. Look for the signpost indicating Maits Rest on your right. There is a parking area available at the start of the walk.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Apollo Bay to Cape Otway. Depending on the service, it may take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cape Otway stop, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach the Maits Rest Rainforest Walk. Follow the Great Ocean Road heading west, and look for the Maits Rest sign on your left. There is a clearly marked path leading to the parking area and the start of the walk.
Car
If you are coming from Lorne, take the Great Ocean Road (B100) south for about 45 minutes. Continue until you reach the Maits Rest sign on your left. Follow the signs to the parking area.

From Warrnambool, drive east on the Princes Highway (A1) for about 1 hour and 15 minutes until you reach the Great Ocean Road (B100) junction. Turn left onto the Great Ocean Road and continue for about 30 minutes until you see the Maits Rest sign on your right. Turn into the parking area at the entrance.
