    From Lorne, drive approximately 10 minutes up Allenvale Road. The Allenvale Road car park marks the start of the trail. Note that the road to the car park is unsealed but generally in good condition. Parking is free. Be aware that there are no toilet facilities at the Allenvale Road car park.
