Driving
To reach The Gables by car, turn off the Great Ocean Road onto Moonlight Head Road, approximately 16 km east of Princetown. Follow the signs to The Gables along the gravel road for about 4.5 km to the parking area. Note that the road is narrow and can be rough, so exercise caution. Parking is available on-site.
Public Transport
To reach The Gables via public transport, take a V/Line train from Melbourne to Colac station. From Colac station, catch a V/Line bus to Gellibrand. Check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. From Gellibrand, it is approximately 15km to The Gables by taxi. A taxi fare from Gellibrand to The Gables will vary.
