Car
If you are traveling by car along the Great Ocean Road, head towards Separation Creek, VIC 3234. From Apollo Bay, take the Great Ocean Road (B100) heading towards Lorne. Continue driving for about 30 km. When you reach Separation Creek, look for a small turn-off near the beach area. Follow the signs for Artillery Rocks, which is located close to the coastline. Parking may be limited, so be prepared to find a suitable spot along the road.
Public Transportation
To reach Artillery Rocks using public transportation, you can take a bus from Melbourne to Apollo Bay. The V/Line bus service operates this route, and the trip takes approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive in Apollo Bay, you can catch a local bus that travels along the Great Ocean Road towards Lorne. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited. Ask the driver to drop you off at Separation Creek, which is the nearest stop to Artillery Rocks. From there, it’s a short walk to the rocks along the coastal path.
