If you're traveling by car, start by heading to the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Use your GPS to navigate to '180 Erskine Falls Rd, Lorne VIC 3232'. From the main coastal road (Great Ocean Road), look for signs pointing towards Lorne. Once you reach Lorne, take Erskine Falls Road which is well-marked. Continue on Erskine Falls Road for approximately 5 minutes, and you will find Live Wire Park on your right. There is parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Live Wire Park using public transportation, take a V/Line train from Melbourne to Geelong. From Geelong, transfer to a V/Line bus heading towards Lorne. The bus ride will take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Lorne, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service as public transport does not directly connect to Live Wire Park. The taxi ride from Lorne town center to Live Wire Park is about 5 minutes and should cost approximately AUD 10-15.
Walking
For those already in Lorne and looking to walk to Live Wire Park, you can start from the town center. Head south on Mountjoy Parade, then turn onto Erskine Falls Road. It is about a 30-minute walk (approximately 2.5 km) from the center of Lorne. Follow the road signs, and you will eventually see Live Wire Park on your left. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk includes a slight incline.
