    To reach Sheoak Picnic Area by car, make your way to Lorne, which is located along the Great Ocean Road. If you're coming from Melbourne, take the M1 towards Geelong and follow the signs to the Great Ocean Road (B100). Continue along the Great Ocean Road for about 1.5 hours until you reach Lorne. Once in Lorne, turn onto Mountjoy Parade (B100) and follow it until you see signs for Garvey Track. Turn onto Garvey Track and follow it until you reach the Sheoak Picnic Area, which is located on the left side of the road. Parking is available on site.

    Public Transportation

    If you're using public transportation, you can take a V/Line bus service from Melbourne to Lorne. Check the V/Line website for schedules and fares. Once you arrive in Lorne, you can either walk or take a taxi to Sheoak Picnic Area. Walking from Lorne to Sheoak Picnic Area is approximately a 30-minute walk (2.5 km). Head east on Mountjoy Parade, then turn onto Garvey Track and continue until you reach the picnic area. Alternatively, you can arrange for a local taxi service to take you directly to Sheoak Picnic Area from the bus stop.
