Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Aireys Inlet on the Great Ocean Road. From the town center, take Boundary Road. Continue on Boundary Road until you reach Sunnymead Beach, located at 10 Boundary Rd, Aireys Inlet VIC 3231. Look for signs directing you to the beach parking area. Parking is available nearby and should be free.
Public Transportation
To reach Sunnymead Beach using public transportation, take a bus from a nearby town (such as Geelong or Torquay) towards Aireys Inlet. The V/Line buses run regularly and stop at Aireys Inlet. Once you arrive at the Aireys Inlet bus stop, walk towards Boundary Road. It is a short walk of about 15-20 minutes to Sunnymead Beach. There may be a small fare for the bus, typically ranging from AUD 10 to AUD 20 depending on your starting location.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider cycling to Sunnymead Beach. Rent a bike from any rental shop along the Great Ocean Road and follow the bike paths that run parallel to the road. The beach is about 4 km from the nearest town center, so plan appropriately and ensure you have water and snacks for the ride.
