The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately AUD 45 for a return trip. Once you arrive at Maria Island, follow the signs to the Fossil Cliffs, which is about a 3-kilometer walk from the ferry terminal.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Albany to Hobart. Once you arrive in Hobart, head to the bus station to catch a bus to Triabunna. Upon reaching Maria Island, follow the signs to Fossil Cliffs. The walk from the ferry terminal to the cliffs is around 3 kilometers.
