From Hobart City Centre, the Metro bus route 446 will take you directly to the Cascade Brewery. The bus departs from Hobart Interchange, Macquarie Street, Stop D2, and arrives at Stop 16, Cascade Road, opposite the brewery. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes and departs hourly. A one-way fare costs $4.

Taxi

Follow Cascade Road for about 2 km; the Cascade Brewery Bar will be on your left.

The brewery was founded by Peter Degraves and Hugh Macintosh, initially as a sawmill before Degraves conceived the idea of a brewery while imprisoned for debt. Today, the Cascade Brewery Bar celebrates this rich heritage with a carefully crafted interior featuring Tasmanian oak and raw steel. Visitors can explore the heritage gardens, enjoy the restaurant, and view historic displays.
