If you're starting from the Hobart waterfront area, head east along Hunter Street towards the Elizabeth Street Pier. When you reach the intersection with Elizabeth Street, turn left and continue walking north. Follow Elizabeth Street as it curves to the right and becomes Campbell Street. Continue on Campbell Street until you reach the intersection with Brisbane Street. The Hobart Convict Penitentiary is located at the corner of Campbell Street and Brisbane Street on your right. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes depending on your pace.
