Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Salamanca Place, head northeast along Salamanca Place towards the Tasman Bridge. Continue straight onto Brooke Street, and follow it until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street. Turn left onto Macquarie Street. City Hall will be on your right at 57-63 Macquarie St, Hobart TAS 7000, approximately a 15-minute walk.

• Walking

  From the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, exit the gardens and head west towards the Tasman Bridge. Follow the path that leads to the river, then turn right onto the waterfront promenade. Walk along the waterfront until you reach Hunter Street. Turn left onto Hunter Street and then right onto Macquarie Street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, and you will find City Hall on your left at 57-63 Macquarie St, Hobart TAS 7000.

• Walking

  If you are at the Hobart Waterfront, start by walking east along the waterfront promenade until you reach Elizabeth Street. Turn left onto Elizabeth Street and walk north. Continue on Elizabeth Street until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street. Turn right onto Macquarie Street, and City Hall will be located on your left at 57-63 Macquarie St, Hobart TAS 7000, about a 10-minute walk.

• Public Transport

  From the Hobart Bus Station, take any bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the Macquarie Street stop. Once you disembark, walk south along Macquarie Street for about 5 minutes. City Hall will be located on your left at 57-63 Macquarie St, Hobart TAS 7000.
