If you are in the Hobart city center, head southeast on Elizabeth Street toward the intersection with Bathurst Street. Continue straight until you reach Liverpool Street, then turn left. Walk along Liverpool Street until you reach the intersection with Campbell Street. Turn right onto Campbell Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street. Here, you will find the Hobart Rivulet Trail. Follow the trail, which will lead you directly towards Hobart Linear Park. The park is located approximately 20 minutes from the city center along the trail.

From the Hobart city center, you can catch a Metro bus heading towards South Hobart. Board any bus that goes along Macquarie Street. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Macquarie Street and Campbell Street. From there, walk down Campbell Street to the Hobart Rivulet Trail entrance. Follow the trail to Hobart Linear Park, which is about a 15-minute walk from there.
