Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Salamanca Place, head north on Salamanca Place toward Montpelier Retreat. Continue straight onto Sandy Bay Road. Walk 1.2 km until you reach the intersection with Macquarie Street. Turn left onto Macquarie Street and continue walking until you reach Murray Street. Turn right onto Murray Street, and St. David's Cathedral will be on your left at 23 Murray Street.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From the city center, walk to the bus stop on Elizabeth Street near the corner of Collins Street. Take the Metro Tasmania Bus # 446, which goes to the Hobart City terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, exit and walk south on Davey Street, then turn left onto Murray Street. Continue walking until you reach St. David's Cathedral at 23 Murray Street.

• Walking from the CBD

  If you are in the Hobart CBD, start at the Elizabeth Street Mall. Walk south towards Collins Street, then turn left and walk toward Murray Street. Continue walking straight until you reach St. David's Cathedral located at 23 Murray Street.

• Walking from the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens

  From the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens, exit the gardens and head west on the Tasman Highway. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Campbell Street. Turn left onto Campbell Street and walk straight until you reach Murray Street. Turn right onto Murray Street, and St. David's Cathedral will be on your left at 23 Murray Street.
