Bus
From the Hobart city center, head to the bus terminal located at Elizabeth Street Bus Mall. Look for the Metro Tasmania bus service. Take bus number 601 or 604 heading towards Bellerive. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Bellerive Village stop. From there, walk east along Victoria Esplanade for about 10 minutes until you reach Bellerive Beach.
Ferry
Head to the Brooke Street Pier located on the waterfront in Hobart. Take the ferry service to Bellerive, which departs regularly. The ferry ride offers scenic views and takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Bellerive, follow the signs that direct you to Victoria Esplanade. Bellerive Beach is just a short walk from the ferry terminal.
Walking
If you're up for a longer walk, you can head east from the Hobart city center towards the Tasman Bridge. Cross the bridge on the pedestrian walkway. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Here, take a left onto Victoria Esplanade. Follow the Esplanade for approximately 3 kilometers, which will take around 30-40 minutes on foot, until you arrive at Bellerive Beach.
