Walking
If you're starting from the Hobart waterfront, make your way to Elizabeth Street. Head north along Elizabeth Street until you reach the intersection with Campbell Street. Turn left onto Campbell Street and walk for about 10 minutes. The Hobart Convict Penitentiary will be located at the intersection of Campbell Street and Brisbane Street on your right.
Public Transport - Bus
From the Hobart City Bus Mall, catch the Metro Tasmania bus route 434 or 435 heading towards the North or South. Get off at the stop on Campbell Street just after the intersection with Brisbane Street. The Hobart Convict Penitentiary will be directly across the street.
Walking from Salamanca Place
Starting at Salamanca Place, walk north along Salamanca Place until you reach the intersection with Davey Street. Turn left onto Davey Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Campbell Street. Turn right onto Campbell Street and walk for about 15 minutes. The Hobart Convict Penitentiary will be at the intersection of Campbell Street and Brisbane Street on your left.
