Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Hobart's city center, head south towards St. David's Park. Make your way through the park, following the paths that lead you toward the waterfront. Once you reach the waterfront, continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. From there, you will see signs directing you towards the Queens Domain. Follow these signs as you walk along the scenic route, which will take you through beautiful parkland. The Floating Bridge Landmark is located in the Queens Domain area, which is a short walk from the waterfront.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From the Hobart city center, you can catch a bus from the Elizabeth Street bus interchange. Look for bus routes that head towards the Queens Domain. Route numbers such as 500 or 501 can be good options. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop nearest to Queens Domain. After getting off, follow the walking paths towards the landmark. The Floating Bridge Landmark should be clearly marked, and it’s just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Hobart. Head south towards the waterfront and follow the bike paths that lead to the Queens Domain. You will find dedicated cycling lanes along the way, making your journey easier. Once you reach the Queens Domain, you can lock your bike at designated bike racks near The Floating Bridge Landmark.
