If you are in Hobart city center, start at the Elizabeth Street bus mall. Head south along Elizabeth Street until you reach the intersection with Campbell Street. Turn right onto Campbell Street and continue walking until you reach the waterfront. From here, follow the waterfront south along the Derwent River until you reach the Sandy Bay area. As you approach Sandy Bay, look for signs directing you towards The Searchlight. It will be located near the southern end of Sandy Bay, close to the beach.
