If you are starting from the Hobart waterfront area, head south along Elizabeth Street until you reach the intersection with Salamanca Place. Turn left onto Salamanca Place and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. You will see the famous Salamanca Markets if you visit on a Saturday. From Salamanca Place, turn right onto Montpelier Retreat and follow it until you come to the intersection with Cromwell Street. Turn left onto Cromwell Street and walk approximately 300 meters. St George’s Anglican Church will be on your left at 30 Cromwell Street, Battery Point.

If you are starting from the city center at Elizabeth Street Mall, walk down Elizabeth Street heading south until you reach the intersection with Argyle Street. Turn left onto Argyle Street and continue straight until you reach Salamanca Place. Here, turn right, and follow Salamanca Place until it bends into Montpelier Retreat. Continue on Montpelier Retreat, then take a left onto Cromwell Street. Walk down Cromwell Street for about 300 meters, and you will find St George’s Anglican Church at 30 Cromwell Street, Battery Point.
