If you are driving, start by heading towards Woonona. From the center of Wollongong, take the Princes Highway (A1) north. After approximately 8 kilometers, take the exit towards Woonona and continue on the local roads. Follow Woonona Street until you reach Collins Rock, located at the coordinates -34.3474829, 150.922846. There is limited street parking available nearby. Be mindful of any parking signs to avoid fines.

Public Transportation

To reach Collins Rock using public transport, catch a train from Wollongong Station to Woonona Station. The train ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Woonona Station, exit the station and walk towards the north on the main street, which is Woonona Street. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you reach Collins Rock. Make sure to check the train schedules beforehand as they may vary, and have a valid Opal card for fare payment.

If you are already in Woonona, simply walk towards Collins Rock located at Woonona Beach. Starting from the local shops on Woonona Street, head east towards the coast. The walk will take about 15-20 minutes and is approximately 1 kilometer. Enjoy the scenic views of the beach along the way.
