Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head to North Wollongong Beach located at Cliff Rd, North Wollongong NSW 2500. Start by getting onto the M1 Princes Motorway from your current location in Illawarra. Follow the M1 and take the exit toward North Wollongong. Continue onto the local roads following signs for North Wollongong Beach. There is ample parking available near the beach, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around $2-$5 per hour.

• Train

  For those using public transportation, take a train from your nearest station to Wollongong Station on the South Coast Line. Once you arrive at Wollongong Station, exit and catch the 'Free City Loop' bus (Route 55) towards North Wollongong. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to North Wollongong Beach, and you will find yourself just a short walk away from the beach. Note that the train fare typically ranges from $5-$10 depending on your starting location.
