From central Wollongong, head north on Crown Street towards the Princess Highway (A1). Turn right onto the Princess Highway and continue for about 10 kilometers. Take the exit towards Lawrence Hargrave Drive/A48 and continue onto Lawrence Hargrave Drive. Follow the signs for Sublime Point Lookout. The lookout is located at Austinmer, approximately 3 kilometers from the turn-off, and there is a designated parking area available. Note that parking is free.

Take a train from Wollongong Station towards Thirroul on the South Coast Line. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at Austinmer Station. From the station, it's about a 30-minute uphill walk to Sublime Point Lookout. Head east on the main road (Lawrence Hargrave Drive) and then follow the signs for Sublime Point Lookout. Be prepared for steep inclines, and consider using a rideshare service or taxi for the last leg if you prefer not to walk.
