Driving

From the center of Jervis Bay, head south on Elizabeth Drive. Continue to the roundabout and take the first exit onto Beach Road. Follow Beach Road until the intersection with Hyams Beach Road, then turn left. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs to Captain's Beach; a small, free parking area is located nearby, but it fills up quickly during peak times.

Public Transport

Catch a local bus within Jervis Bay towards Hyams Beach. The closest bus stop to Captain's Beach is on Hyams Beach Road. After getting off, walk approximately 1 kilometer towards Captain's Beach, following the signs. Check the local bus schedule for accurate times, with a small fare of around AUD 2-4 depending on the distance.

Walking

Captains Beach is accessible by walking from Iluka Beach. From the parking area at Iluka Beach, follow the walking track north towards Captains Point. The walk is relatively easy and offers scenic views of the coastline. HMAS Creswell is closed to the public, so there is no direct access to Captains Beach from the north.
