Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Jervis Bay, such as Huskisson. Head southwest on Elizabeth Drive towards the Booderee National Park. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with Currarong Road. Turn right onto Currarong Road and follow it as it winds towards Currarong. Once you reach Currarong, turn left onto Lighthouse Road. Honeymoon Bay will be on your right. There is limited parking available, so please be mindful of parking regulations.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, begin your journey at the nearest bus stop in Huskisson. Take the bus service to Currarong, which usually operates a few times a day. Check the local bus timetable for the exact schedule. Once you arrive at Currarong, you can walk to Honeymoon Bay by following Currarong Road and then turning onto Lighthouse Road. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk (1.5 km) from the bus stop to Honeymoon Bay. Ensure you check the return bus schedule as it may not run frequently.
Bike
For those who enjoy cycling, renting a bike in Jervis Bay can be a great way to get to Honeymoon Bay. Head out from Huskisson on the cycle paths towards Currarong. The ride is approximately 12 km and can take about 40 minutes. Follow the same route as cars, but take care on the roads as some sections may have limited bike lanes. Once in Currarong, turn onto Lighthouse Road, and you will find Honeymoon Bay on your right.
