Walking
From the Huskisson town center, Huskisson Beach is easily accessible by foot. Head east along Owen Street towards the water. Turn left onto Beach Street and continue along the road until you reach the beach access point. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes and offers scenic views of the bay. There are no costs associated with walking to the beach.
Public Transport
While there isn't a direct bus route that drops you right at Huskisson Beach, you can take a bus to the Huskisson town center and then walk to the beach. From Nowra, take the 810 or 812 bus to Huskisson. Alight at the Huskisson shops and follow the walking directions to the beach. A single adult Opal fare from Nowra to Huskisson is around $3.50.
Driving
If driving, navigate to Beach Street, Huskisson. Limited street parking is available along Beach Street, but it can fill up quickly during peak season. There is also a small car park near the beach entrance. Parking is typically free, but restrictions may apply, so check signage. As of July 2025, parking is free, but time limits may apply.
