Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Huskisson Beach from any point in Jervis Bay, start by heading towards Huskisson Road. Follow the signs for Huskisson. Once on Huskisson Road, continue until you reach the roundabout, and take the second exit onto Beach Street. Follow Beach Street until you see the beach area on your left. There is limited parking available near the beach, and you may need to pay a small fee (around AUD 5-10) depending on the time of year and duration of your stay.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Huskisson Beach using public transport, look for a local bus service that connects to Huskisson from other areas in Jervis Bay. The bus stop 'Huskisson Shops' is a good starting point. From there, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. Exit the bus and head towards Beach Street. Follow Beach Street down to the beach area. Be sure to check the local bus timetable for the most accurate schedule, as services may vary throughout the day.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Jervis Bay. Head towards Huskisson Road and follow the designated bike paths. This will lead you directly to Huskisson Beach. The ride is approximately 4km from the center of Jervis Bay and should take around 15-20 minutes. Remember to wear a helmet and follow road safety rules.

• Walking

  For those staying close to Huskisson, walking is a pleasant option. From the center of Huskisson, head south on Owen Street, which will lead you to Beach Street. Continue straight until you reach the beach. This walk is roughly 1km and should take about 15 minutes. Enjoy the views along the way!
