After about a 45-minute ride, get off at Penneshaw. From there, follow the signs towards the ferry terminal and take a ferry to the mainland. Once you arrive at the mainland, continue to walk towards the nearest bus stop to catch a bus heading to Cape Willoughby Lighthouse. After about an hour of travel, you will arrive at the Cape Willoughby Conservation Park. Follow the walking trail signs to reach the lighthouse.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Penneshaw or Kingscote. From Penneshaw, cycle along Cape Willoughby Road heading east. The journey is approximately 20 kilometers and offers picturesque views of the coastline. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way. Upon reaching the Cape Willoughby Conservation Park, park your bicycle at the designated area and follow the walking path to the lighthouse.

From Kingscote, take the Kangaroo Island bus service to Penneshaw. The journey takes about 45 minutes.
