Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting in Kingscote, head southeast on Stokes Bay Road. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the B23 highway. Turn left onto B23 and continue walking for approximately 7 kilometers. You'll pass by beautiful landscapes and possibly some local wildlife. Once you reach Haines, keep an eye out for signs pointing you towards Prospect Hill. The entrance will be on your left, and you may need to walk a short path to reach the viewing area.

  • Bicycle

    From Penneshaw, start by cycling west on the main road. After about 12 kilometers, you'll reach the B23 highway. Turn left onto B23 and cycle another 15 kilometers towards Haines. The ride is scenic, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. As you approach Haines, look for signs directing you to Prospect Hill. The entrance will be just off the highway on your left, and you can lock your bike and walk to the viewing area.
