Bus
If you are starting from Kingscote, head to the Kingscote Bus Stop located at Dauncey Street. Look for the bus service that operates towards Stokes Bay. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and will drop you off at the Stokes Bay stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 500 meters towards the shore to reach the beach area.
Bicycle
From Kingscote, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head north on the Playford Highway (B23) for about 15 kilometers until you see signs for Stokes Bay. Turn left onto Stokes Bay Road and continue for about 5 kilometers. You will arrive at Stokes Bay where you can lock your bike up and enjoy the beach.
Walking Tour
If you are in a nearby area like Emu Bay, you can start a walking tour to Stokes Bay. Walk along the coastal path, following the coastline south. This route will take you through some beautiful scenery and wildlife spotting opportunities. The distance is approximately 12 kilometers and will take about 3 hours. Make sure to take plenty of water and snacks.
