Car

If you're driving, take the Glenelg Highway (A1) towards Mount Gambier. Once you enter Mount Gambier, follow the signs to the city center. At the intersection of Commercial Street and Elizabeth Street, turn onto Elizabeth Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Mount Gambier Road, then continue to follow it as it becomes Umpherston Street. You will see the entrance to Umpherston Cave on your left-hand side. Parking is available nearby, and it is free of charge.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from nearby towns to Mount Gambier. The local bus service provides routes to the city center. Once you arrive at the Mount Gambier bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Umpherston Cave. The cave is approximately 2 kilometers from the bus station. Walking will take around 25 minutes; head southeast on Commercial Street, then continue onto Elizabeth Street, and follow the same route as described for car travelers from there.
