Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from Nelly Bay, where the ferry terminal is located. Head northeast on Mandalay Ave, then turn right onto Sooning St. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Horseshoe Bay Rd. Follow this road for approximately 3 km, then turn left onto Arcadia Rd. Continue on Arcadia Rd for another 1.5 km until you reach the Panorama Lookout sign on your left. There's a designated parking area at the lookout.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To reach Panorama Lookout by public transport, catch the bus from Nelly Bay to Horseshoe Bay. The bus departs regularly from the terminal. Once you arrive at Horseshoe Bay, you can either walk (approximately 3.5 km) towards Arcadia Rd or catch a local taxi to the lookout. If walking, head along Horseshoe Bay Rd, then turn onto Arcadia Rd. Follow the road until you see the Panorama Lookout sign. Note: Bus fares apply, typically around AUD 3-5, depending on the distance.

• Walking

  If you are already in Arcadia, you can walk to Panorama Lookout. From the main Arcadia Park, head towards the beachfront and follow the path leading up to the lookout. It's a steep incline, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The walk should take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more direct option, you can use a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber) from anywhere on the island. Simply provide the driver with the address: 10 Castle Hill Rd, Castle Hill QLD 4810.
