From Mallee, head southeast on the main road (Mallee Highway) towards Amphitheatre. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Amphitheatre Road. Turn left onto Amphitheatre Road and follow it for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Mount Direction. The last stretch will take you into a small dirt path leading to the parking area near the base of Mount Direction. Parking is free.
