Car
If you are driving from Mallee, head south on the Calder Highway (A79) towards Horsham. Continue for approximately 70 km until you reach the town of Horsham. In Horsham, take the Western Highway (M8) towards Stawell. After approximately 25 km, take the exit for Grampians National Park. Follow the signs to Zumsteins and Glenelg River Road. Continue on Glenelg River Road for about 15 km until you reach The Balconies parking area. There is no entry fee for the park, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
To reach The Balconies via public transportation, take a V/Line train from Mallee to Stawell. The train journey will take approximately 2 hours. Once in Stawell, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Grampians National Park. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. The bus ride to the park will take about 30 minutes. After reaching the park, follow the signs to The Balconies, which is a short walk from the bus stop. Public transportation is subject to schedules, so plan accordingly.
