Car
From Port Macquarie, take the Pacific Highway (A1) south towards Wauchope. After approximately 16 kilometers, take the exit towards Wauchope (B56). Follow B56 for about 20 kilometers until you reach Elands. In Elands, turn onto Ellenborough Falls Road (C123). Continue on Ellenborough Falls Road for about 12 kilometers, which will lead you directly to the Ellenborough Falls car park. Note that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously. Parking is free.
Public Transportation
While there are limited public transport options directly to Ellenborough Falls, you can take a bus from Port Macquarie to Wauchope. From Wauchope, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Ellenborough Falls, which is approximately 30 kilometers away. Be sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time and confirm taxi availability in Wauchope, as it may not be readily available.
Hiking
If you are a hiking enthusiast, consider parking at the Ellenborough Falls car park and then taking the walking track that leads down to the base of the falls. The hike is approximately 600 meters and offers stunning views of the falls. Make sure to wear sturdy footwear and carry water, as the track can be steep and may require some effort.
