Car
To reach Macleay River Lookout from any location in the Mid North Coast, start by getting onto the Pacific Highway (A1). If you're coming from Coffs Harbour, head south on the Pacific Highway for approximately 100 km until you reach the exit for South West Rocks Road (Bypass of Kempsey). Exit onto South West Rocks Road and follow the signs towards South West Rocks. Continue for about 12 km until you reach the junction with the Armidale Road (B78). Turn left onto Armidale Road and drive for about 15 km. The lookout will be signposted on your left. Parking is available near the lookout.
